Alexander Rouse

Alexander Rouse has a diverse work experience. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Relay, starting in May 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Engineer at Republic Wireless from June 2017. In this role, they focused on developing the core business Android application and improving functionality related to Voip, SMS/MMS, and Voicemail.

Before their time at Republic Wireless, Alexander worked at North Carolina State University. Alexander held various positions, including being an Undergraduate Research Assistant from May 2016 to August 2016, where they worked on developing tools for computer science education through games and outreach. Alexander also served as a Teaching Assistant for CSC 226 (Discrete Mathematics) from August 2016 to November 2016, responsible for guiding students in and out of class.

Furthermore, Alexander worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant from October 2016 to May 2017, developing a game using the Unity game engine to teach algebra concepts to young students. Additionally, they were a Teaching Assistant for CSC 116 (Intro to Java) from January 2015 to April 2015, assisting students inside and outside the classroom.

Alexander Rouse obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University, completing their education from 2013 to 2017.
