Doreen Wong

Doreen Wong is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in ocean-focused and climate technology sectors. Currently serving as an Advisor for the StartBlue Ocean Enterprise Accelerator at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, Doreen co-leads initiatives to foster innovation in San Diego's blue economy. Doreen also advises various climate tech and ocean tech startups and holds significant roles with Diversity VC, 1000 Ocean Startups Coalition, and Republic as an Investor and Venture Partner Alumna. Doreen's previous positions include Entrepreneurship Programs Specialist at the University of Hawaii System and Associate Director at Sustainable Ocean Alliance. With degrees in Environmental Engineering from Duke University and Materials Science and Engineering from UC Berkeley, along with various advisory roles, Doreen is dedicated to developing sustainable solutions for ocean health and inclusive entrepreneurship.
