Madhu Vellakal

Madhu Vellakal is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in cloud computing, high-performance computing (HPC), and artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML). Currently serving as Solutions Engineering Manager at Rescale since April 2020, Madhu leads a talented team of solution architects. Previous roles at Rescale included Solutions Architect II and Solutions Architect, focusing on pre-sales initiatives. Prior to Rescale, Madhu worked at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications, specializing in data science, performance analysis, and applied research from August 2012 to March 2020. Additional experience includes roles as a Project Engineer at Eicher Engineering Solutions and Software Engineer at HCL Technologies. Academic credentials include a Master of Engineering in Energy Systems from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Computational Fluid Dynamics from the University at Buffalo, and a Bachelor of Technology with honors in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur.
