ChiHung(Chester) Hsieh

Chester Hsieh has a diverse work experience in data engineering and data science roles. ChiHung(Chester) started their career as an Algorithm Developer at J-MEX, where they gained experience in C programming and developed an algorithm for tracking gym trainer exercises. ChiHung(Chester) then moved on to become a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the Illinois Institute of Technology and worked on projects involving social media analysis and text mining.

After completing their graduate studies, Chester joined Grid Dynamics as a Data Scientist. Here, they worked on various projects, including developing NLP to SQL models and testing different DL frameworks. ChiHung(Chester) also evaluated the value of additional content like user reviews and built industry-specific word embeddings based on the Home improvement forum.

Chester then joined Kuobrothers Corp as a Data Engineer. Here, they improved data analytics capabilities for CRM and Ad teams by implementing an ETL pipeline using Airflow.
