Colleen Mayer

Colleen Mayer has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Colleen is currently working as a Sr. Software Engineer at ReSci (Retention Science) since August 2020. Previously, they worked at FastSpring from October 2015 to August 2020, where they played a key role in the back-end development of their JAVA-based platform. Colleen'sresponsibilities included designing, coding, testing, and deploying features, as well as reviewing their team members' design and code changes. Colleen worked on various aspects such as integration with payment gateways, order processing, subscription management features, and RESTful API. Colleen also gained experience in SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) databases, as well as using AWS services like SQS, Lambda function, EC2, and API gateway. Additionally, they contributed to front-end development using JavaScript, JSF, AngularJS, HTML, and CSS. Earlier in their career, they worked at Logitech as a Web Developer from January 2014 to July 2015 and as an IT Intern from July 2013 to January 2014.

Colleen Mayer obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from National Tsing Hua University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including the Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6 Programmer from Oracle in December 2014, the AWS Certified Developer - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2020, and the AWS certified cloud practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2019.
