Matthew Petrick is an experienced professional with a background in case management and client care at the Rescue Mission since May 2015. In the role of Case Manager, Matthew provides essential support to clients facing homelessness, assessing needs and connecting them with resources to foster independence. Previously, as a Client Care Specialist within the same organization, Matthew created a safe environment and motivated clients towards self-sufficiency. Other notable experiences include serving as an Alumni Caller for The Cortland Fund, where fundraising efforts contributed to scholarships and building projects at SUNY Cortland, and completing a Study Abroad Internship with Global Service Corps, during which Matthew taught health education in Tanzania and initiated projects to support homeless teens. Additional roles include working as a Summer Enrichment Specialist at Say Yes to Education and volunteering at Catholic Charities USA. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the State University of New York Cortland.
