Brent Leadbetter

Brent Leadbetter is the current Partner & Head of Equity Solution Distribution at Research Affiliates. Brent has over 15 years of experience in the financial industry. Brent started their career at Merrill Lynch in 2002 as a Retirement Specialist. In 2003, they transitioned to AG Edwards where they became an Institutional Sales Associate. In 2004, Brent moved to Bernstein where they served as Assistant Vice President until 2008. Brent then joined Research Affiliates in 2009 and has been with the company ever since.

Brent Leadbetter graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Brent then went on to earn their Master of Business Administration degree from UCLA Anderson School of Management. Brent is also a CFA Charterholder, having earned their certification from the CFA Institute.

They are on a team with Alan Lin - SVP & Head, Data Systems, Joe Steidl - Partner, EMEA, Research Affiliates Global Advisors Limited, Europe, and Michele Mazzoleni - Partner, Multi-Asset Strategies. Brent Leadbetter reports to Chris Brightman, Partner, CEO & Chief Investment Officer.
