Kate Southworth serves as General Counsel at Research Associates, Inc. since February 2005, where responsibilities include conducting screening investigations for professional and skilled labor positions for various corporate clients, and substantiating applicant qualifications through thorough interviews. Prior experience includes roles as Managing Editor and Associate Editor at the Journal of Law & Health from August 2012 to May 2014 and as a Student Clinician at Cleveland Marshall College of Law Civil Litigation Clinic, where contributions included drafting an Amicus Curiae for the United States Supreme Court and representing clients in unemployment compensation cases. Academic qualifications consist of a Juris Doctor in Employment Law from Cleveland State University - Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, a Master of Public Administration in Economic Development from Cleveland State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/English from Baldwin Wallace University.
