Martin Walsh

Martin Walsh serves as the Deputy Director of Life Sciences and Life Sciences Coordinator at Diamond Light Source since January 2009. Additionally, Martin Walsh has held the position of Group Leader at the Research Complex at Harwell since January 2012, overseeing a Medical Research Council-funded research group focused on the structural biology of a multifunctional bacterial ABC transporter. Previous roles include Group Leader at MRC France, Visiting Scientist at EMBL, and various research fellowships, including postdoctoral positions at EMBL and the University of York. Martin Walsh earned a PhD in Protein Crystallography and a B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Galway.
