Arwa Althagafi currently serves as the General Manager of Innovation and Tech Transfer at the Research, Development and Innovation Authority (RDIA) since June 2023, following a tenure at Tabadul as the Director of Innovation and Strategic Partnerships and Research & Innovation Director from January 2021 to June 2023. Prior to this, Arwa held various academic roles at Taibah University, including Assistant Professor, Vice Dean of E-learning Deanship, and Deputy Head of the Computer Science & Information Systems Department, contributing significantly to curriculum development and the advancement of e-learning. Additional experience includes leading innovative technology labs as Vice President of Innovation at TaibahValley and pioneering Saudi Arabia's first IoT lab. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Information Systems from The University of Sheffield and a Master's degree in Information Systems Management from The University of Huddersfield.
