Ryan Gallagher

New York State Behavioral Health Ombuds Project Director at RESEARCH FOUNDATION FOR MENTAL HYGIENE INC

Ryan Gallagher currently serves as the New York State Behavioral Health Ombuds Project Director at the Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc., where Ryan oversees the Community Health Access to Addiction and Mental Healthcare Project (CHAMP), addressing various consumer issues in mental health and addiction services. Previously, Ryan was an Adjunct Professor at New York Law School and held multiple positions at Family Legal Care, including Director of Legal Technology, where Ryan implemented online tools to support pro se litigants and managed technology systems. Ryan's experience also encompasses legal research and advocacy roles, including as a Research Fellow at Seton Hall School of Law, a Student Clinical Attorney, and a Legal Research Intern at Amnesty International. Ryan holds a Doctor of Law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University at Albany.
