Franklin Bradfield

Franklin Bradfield's work experience begins in 2014 when they worked as a Data Engineer Intern at the World Affairs Council of Atlanta. In 2014, they also started working as a Mathematics & Statistics Instructor at Zhengzhou No. 9 High School, a role they held until 2017. From 2017 to 2018, Franklin worked as a Machine Learning & NLP Consultant at Georgia State University.

In 2018, they joined the Georgia Tech Research Institute as a Machine Learning Researcher. During their time there, they coordinated research engineering efforts for the DARPA Learning with Less Labels (LwLL) program, transitioning academic research efforts into operational systems. Franklin also led a $75,000 R&D initiative focused on intelligent question answering.

Franklin Bradfield has a diverse education history. From 2018 to 2020, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Machine Learning at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Prior to that, from 2010 to 2014, they attended Georgia State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Applied Linguistics and another B.A. degree in Economics. In 2012, they briefly studied Mandarin Chinese at Tsinghua University, although they did not obtain a degree in this field. In addition to their formal education, Franklin obtained a Machine Learning Engineer Nanodegree from Udacity in January 2018.
