John "JT" Harris has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles within the military and defense sector. John "JT" is currently working as a Product Owner, JADC2 at Research Innovations Incorporated since 2021. Prior to that, they served in the US Army from 2012 to 2020, where they held positions such as Director Of Training and Exercises for US Army Africa, Director of Operations for US Special Operations Command Korea, and Director of Training and Exercises for the US Army.
Before their time in the US Army, Harris worked as Chief of Influence Operations at HQ Allied Rapid Reaction Corps from 2014 to 2017. John "JT" also served as Division Chief of Fires at United States Forces Korea (USFK) in 2011.
Harris's early career includes roles such as Commander of a multi-functional unit in the US Army from 2009 to 2011 and Chief of Future Operations - SMU at Joint Special Operations Command from 2007 to 2009. John "JT" started their career as a Technical Trainer in the US Army from 2001 to 2003.
In addition to their US Army experience, Harris also served as a US Army Exchange Officer to the British Army from 1997 to 1999, where they worked as a Senior Field Artillery & Fire Support Trainer at the British Army Command And Staff Training Unit.
John "JT" Harris began their education at Zama American High School, where they obtained a Diploma in General Studies from 1982 to 1984. John "JT" further pursued higher education at Indiana University Bloomington, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from 1987 to 1991.

Prior to their enrollment at Indiana University Bloomington, John attended Vincennes University from 1986 to 1987, where they pursued General Studies without a specific degree.
