Kayley Kiesel has a diverse work experience in software engineering, robotics, and teaching. Kayley began their career at Research Innovations Incorporated as a Software Engineer I, where they developed and maintained software in Java Spring Boot. Kayley also created a REST API documentation docker microservice to provide an understanding of each endpoint and improved CI/CD automation. At Textron Systems, Kayley worked as a Software Engineer Intern, developing software for an automated test tool and resolving bugs within the company's simulation tool. Kayley gained experience in troubleshooting and support as an Information Technology Help Desk at CARROLL COUNTY 4-H AND FFA FAIR INC, where they fixed malfunctioning devices and assisted attendees with technological issues. As a Robotics Competition Team Leader for VEX U Team BNS and VEX Team 24, Kayley programmed robots using various sensors and programming languages, utilized version control, and designed robots in CAD software. Lastly, they taught robotics and engineering classes at TGIF Homeschool Group, focusing on LEGO and VEX IQ robotics, programming, and structural concepts.
