Tim Martinez

Tim Martinez has a work experience that spans over several years in various roles related to information system security and administration. In 2016, they started as a Linux System Administrator at Accenture Federal Services and held this role until 2018. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Unix System Administrator at ASM Research. Following this, Tim joined Booz Allen Hamilton as a Cyber Security Analyst from 2018 to 2020. In 2020, they transitioned to Excentium, Inc as an Information Systems Security Officer, and remained in this position until 2021. Currently, Tim is employed as an Information System Security Manager at Research Innovations Incorporated, starting in 2022.

Tim Martinez attended Palo Alto College from 2010 to 2013 and obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Tim then pursued their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Texas A&M University-San Antonio from 2012 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Tim Martinez also obtained several certifications. Tim received the CompTIA Security+ ce certification from CompTIA in July 2016. In February 2017, they obtained the Comptia Linux Plus certification from CompTIA, as well as the LPIC-1 certification from the Linux Professional Institute.
