Brandy Williams LMSW is a skilled professional with extensive experience in social work and education. Currently serving as the Director of Education and Coordinator of Advocacy at the Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault (MOCSA) since March 2019, Brandy also works as a Social Services Clinician at Research Psychiatric Center, where responsibilities include PRN work aimed at gaining experience and fulfilling clinical licensure requirements. Additionally, Brandy contributes to academia as an Adjunct Professor at Park University since August 2021. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Social Work from The University of Kansas and further studies at the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Research Psychiatric Center offers a complete range of acute inpatient, day treatment and community-based outpatient behavioral healthcare. In our 125 bed facility, we treat adolescents, adults and senior adults for emotional disorders, mental illness and substance abuse. Our professional staff includes psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and licensed professional counselors, all with special training to care for people with emotional or behavioral disorders. We are fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and from the State of Missouri. All hospital-based services include full psychiatric, psychosocial and medical evaluations. Research Psychiatric Center is proud to be one of the leading providers of Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) in the region. It is modernized and provided by a team of professionals that includes a psychiatrist, an anesthesiologist, and a nurse. Determined to provide our nation’s heroes with the care they deserve, Research Psychiatric Center has a program that allows service members to reside on their own dedicated unit. The STAR Unit offers a specialized program for Stress, Trauma, Addictions and Recovery. Our average length of stay is 28 days, and we are proud to offer around-the-clock contact with appropriate military staff to ensure a seamless transition back to duty.
