Ashley Wheeler

Ashley Wheeler is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in administrative and research support roles. Currently serving as a Senior Administrative Assistant and Research Assistant at RTI International since August 2016, Ashley contributes to the PCORI research contract focused on reducing opioid use while managing chronic pain. Prior to this role, Ashley held various positions at the Wake County Board of Elections from August 2011 to August 2016, including Elections Training Specialist, where responsibilities included designing training materials and ensuring accuracy across multiple locations. Additional roles involved campaign finance management, report auditing, and assisting with finance tasks. Ashley holds a degree in English and International Business from North Carolina State University, complemented by educational experience at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and Hopewell High School.
