Daniela P.

Daniela P. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in grantmaking, education reform, and research. Currently serving as the Senior Director of the Thriving Communities Grantmaking Program at RTI International since January 2022, Daniela is also an Expert Network Member at Catalyst:Ed, contributing to initiatives aimed at supporting students of color. Daniela's previous roles include Senior Director at Frontline Solutions, Vice President at First 5 LA, and Associate Director of Evaluation & Impact at Living Cities. Daniela held strategic positions at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and MDRC, where expertise in data strategy and research was applied. Daniela's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Sociology from the University of Michigan, as well as bachelor's and master's degrees in Sociology from Pomona College and the University of Michigan, respectively, also having studied Russian at Middlebury College.
