Joe Johnson

Joe Johnson is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience at RTI International, where current roles include Senior Manager and Program Area Lead for Environmental Software Engineering. Over a career spanning nearly a decade at RTI, Joe has progressed through various positions, leading software development teams in designing cloud-based applications for environmental and economic domains, while also providing technical leadership and mentorship. Prior experience includes roles at IBM as a Staff Software Engineer and Software Engineer, contributing to customer relationship management integration and automation solutions. Joe holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, both from North Carolina State University, and completed studies at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics.
