John Farrell is a Senior Environmental Engineering Applications Developer 1 at RTI International, having advanced from a Software Engineer and earlier internships focused on environmental and natural resource economics research programming. At RTI, John contributed to full-stack development of a web-based application for analyzing technology commercialization data, and enhanced responsibilities in team projects. John served as Director for WakeHacks 2021 at Wake Forest University, orchestrating a hackathon event, and collaborated on research involving distributed memory clustering. Experience as a Teaching Assistant included grading and supporting students, while interdisciplinary research efforts earned a Wake Forest Research Fellowships grant. John holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Wake Forest University and has furthered education at CG Spectrum.
