Kristie Porter is an experienced professional in health care quality and outcomes, currently serving as a Program Manager at RTI International since September 2013, where expertise focuses on aging, disability, and long-term care. Prior to this, Kristie held the position of Project Director for the CONNECT for Quality initiative at Duke University School of Nursing, managing NIH-funded research aimed at reducing falls among nursing home residents. Additional experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at the UNC Injury Prevention Research Center and a Research Associate at MPR Associates, Inc. Kristie began their career at RTI International as an Education Analyst and possesses a Master of Public Health in Health Behavior Health Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.A. in Sociology from North Carolina State University.
