Simon Lappi

Simon Lappi, PhD, CLSO, currently serves as the EHS Safety Program Manager at RTI International, focusing on developing and maintaining safety programs for facilities, fire, life safety, and occupational safety. With a robust background at North Carolina State University, Simon held the positions of Chemical Safety Specialist and Safety Officer in the Department of Chemistry, where responsibilities included overseeing chemical hazards, serving as Laser Safety Officer, and providing expert safety guidance to stakeholders. Simon holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from High Point University and a Doctor of Philosophy in Physical Chemistry from North Carolina State University.
