Tom Bishop

Tom Bishop is a seasoned professional in climate finance and investment, currently serving as a Senior Climate Finance Advisor at RTI International since 2023, where contributions include providing technical expertise and supporting business development in climate finance across various sectors. Prior experience includes five years at the Green Climate Fund as a Climate Investment Specialist, focusing on blended finance and private sector engagement for climate projects in developing countries. Tom also held roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where responsibilities included originating investments in community development projects, and at Calvert Investments as an MBA Sustainability Researcher, publishing research on corporate ESG performance. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte, advising multinational corporations on tax strategies. Tom holds an MBA in Sustainable Global Enterprise from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and a BS in Accounting and Finance from Georgetown University.
