Horst Fickenscher is the CIO & Co-Founder at ResearchGate, where Horst is responsible for the IT strategy and IT vision. Horst also serves as the CTO & Co-Founder, leading the matching of technology to business goals for rapid growth. Prior to ResearchGate, Horst was the CEO & Co-Founder of alemo kommunikations GmbH, where Horst drove the company's strategic direction and growth. Horst holds a degree in Computer Science from Universität Passau.
