Sylvain Gonthier

Sylvain Gonthier is the Senior Director of Operations at the Réseau de transport de Longueuil. Sylvain has held this position since December 2014.

Previous to their current role, Mr. Gonthier was the Directeur entretien et ingénierie at SOCIÉTÉ DE TRANSPORT DE LAVAL from January 2011 to December 2014. Sylvain then served as the Directeur général at the Ministère du travail, Direction générale des relations du travail from January 2015 to December 2015.

From September 2007 to January 2011, Mr. Gonthier worked as a Senior Consultant at SYLVAIN GONTHIER, CONSULTANT. Prior to that, they were the Directeur exécutif services partagés at SOCIÉTÉ DE TRANSPORT DE MONTRÉAL (STM) from February 1999 to September 2007.

Mr. Gonthier began their career in 1989 as the Coordonnateur, gestion des RH, policiers et pompiers at VILLE DE LAVAL. Sylvain then served as the Administrateur, relations du travail et services clients at COMMUNAUTÉ URBAINE DE MONTRÉAL from March 1995 to March 1998. Sylvain was later promoted to Directeur, ressources humaines at LA CORPORATION D’URGENCES SANTÉ from April 1993 to March 1995.

Sylvain Gonthier has a BACCALAURÉAT SPÉCIALISÉ EN ADMINISTRATION PAR CUMUL DE CERTIFICATS from Université du Québec à Montréal, a MAÎTRISE ÈS SCIENCES DE LA GESTION, option management from École des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC), and a PhD in management from HEC Montréal.

They work with Nadia Goyer - Director, Communications & Public Affairs, Benoit Allaire - Director, Major Projects in Infrastructure of Buildings, and Daniel Sauvé - Director, Buildings & Metropolitan Facilities. Sylvain Gonthier reports to Michel Veilleux, CEO.
