Patrick Kupaza is a seasoned financial professional currently serving as Principal Examiner for Investment Management Supervision at The Reserve Bank of Malawi since February 2020. In this role, Patrick oversees the supervision and regulation of capital market institutions to ensure compliance with the Financial Services Act, 2010. Prior to this, Patrick held the position of Senior Analyst in Trade Monitoring & Statistics, where data management for analyzing foreign exchange remittances was a key responsibility. Patrick's experience also includes serving as an Inspector for Authorized Foreign Exchange Dealers and as a Secondary School Teacher in Mathematics and Agriculture. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Social Science Degree in Economics from Chancellor College, University of Malawi, and is currently pursuing an MSc in Finance with a focus on Investment Management from the University of Nairobi.
