Kate Le Quesne is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within prominent organizations. Currently serving as Assistant Governor Enterprise Services at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand since November 2020, Kate has held multiple key positions, including Director of Financial Markets and Director of Prudential Policy. Prior to this, Kate was involved with Young Women in Finance NZ as a Board Member and held significant roles at The Treasury - New Zealand, including Acting Head of Funding Strategy and Engagement. With a background at Westpac as both Quantitative Portfolio Manager and FX Forwards Trader, and earlier experience at Macquarie Group, Kate brings a wealth of expertise in financial markets and risk management. Academic qualifications include a Leadership Transition degree from INSEAD and a degree in Actuarial Studies/Finance from The Australian National University.
