Acting Manager Enforcement at Reserve Bank of New Zealand

Philippa Wright has extensive experience in legal counsel and enforcement roles. Currently serving as Acting Manager Enforcement and Principal Legal Counsel at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand since January 2024, Philippa previously held the position of Senior Legal Counsel for the Regulation team at the Commerce Commission from June 2018 to January 2024. Prior to that, Philippa worked as Legal and Regulatory Counsel at Geo Networks from July 2006 to June 2014 and as a Solicitor at Simpson Grierson from February 2002 to December 2005. Philippa obtained a BA/LLB degree in Arts and Law from the University of Auckland between 1998 and 2002, having completed secondary education at Epsom Girls Grammar School from 1993 to 1997.
