Leonel Flores is a highly skilled Senior Coring Engineer with extensive experience in managing coring operations both Offshore and Onshore. Currently employed at Reservoir Group since August 2017, Leonel has specialized in coring operations on 6th generation ultra-deepwater drillships, focusing on efficiency and rig time savings through dual activity approaches. Prior to this role, Leonel served as a Senior Coring Engineer at ALS Oil & Gas and Corpro System LTD, overseeing global coring operations. Leonel’s career began at Halliburton and includes positions as Services Coordinator, Coring Coordinator, and Field Service Engineer, culminating a solid foundation in coring and drilling operations dating back to 1990. Leonel's educational background includes a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Oriente.
