Jonathan Sturges has a diverse work experience in the music industry and finance. Jonathan started their career as an intern at Atlantic Records, Artemis Records, and Neuberger Berman in 2001, 2002, and 2003 respectively. In 2004, they worked as an intern at Great Oaks Venture Capital. Jonathan then co-founded and served as CFO of Rebellion Research, a quantitative hedge fund, from 2005 to 2013. Sturges later joined Reservoir Media Management, Inc. in 2013 as a Financial Associate, and gradually rose to the position of Vice President, Finance. Currently, they hold the role of SVP, Finance and Investments at Reservoir Media Management, Inc.

Jonathan then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Composition from Amherst College from 2001 to 2005, graduating cum laude. Afterwards, they completed a Master of Arts degree in Music Composition from New York University between 2005 and 2009. Later, they furthered their education at Columbia Business School from 2011 to 2013, earning a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Finance & Economics.
