Manuel Tanger is a co-founder and Head of Future at Beta-i, where Manuel has contributed to the company's growth and served on the financial committee since its inception in February 2010. As a faculty member at Singularity University since July 2018, Manuel teaches courses on exponential technologies and their disruptive impacts. Manuel is also a co-founder at The (RE)SET Company, focusing on sustainable business transformations. In addition, Manuel serves as an expert innovation evaluator for the European Commission and has been the owner of Comunlogos Unipessoal, Lda since May 2006, where Manuel delivers learning and certification programs. Previous experience includes positions as Managing Partner at LC Ventures, Senior Consultant at European Consulting & Corporate Services Ltd, and Senior Marketing Manager at Qbian. Manuel held the role of Brand Manager at the Danone Group, achieving significant sales growth through innovative marketing strategies. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Complex Systems from Iscte - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, along with multiple MSc degrees in Physics from Utrecht University and Instituto Superior Técnico.
