Ankush Singh has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ankush is currently employed as a Senior Consultant Engineer at ResFrac Corporation, starting in August 2021. Prior to this, Ankush worked at Stanford University for five years, from 2016 to 2021. At Stanford, they held various roles, including managing the rollout, troubleshooting, and training for the Fault Slip Potential (FSP) software tool and working on geomechanical analysis for the US DOE funded EGS Collab project. Alongside these roles, Ankush pursued their PhD in geomechanical research, focusing on subsurface energy resources, induced earthquakes, and decarbonization.
Before joining Stanford, Ankush gained valuable experience at Shell, where they served as a Production Geoscientist from November 2010 to July 2016. Additionally, they worked as an Operations Geoscientist from June 2014 to July 2015 and as a Well Site Geologist from March 2011 to December 2011 during their time at Shell. Starting their career, Ankush interned as a Geologist at Schlumberger for two months in 2010. Ankush Singh pursued their education in a dedicated manner, starting with their Master of Science degree in Applied Geology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Ankush attended this institution from 2008 to 2010, focusing on their field of study. Building on this foundation, Ankush continued their academic journey by enrolling at Stanford University, where they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Geophysics and Seismology.
