Raquel Fendel

Raquel Fendel has a diverse work experience, starting in 2013 as a Camp Counselor at Camp Mataponi, where they were responsible for maintaining schedules and designing lesson plans for children. Later in 2014, they worked as a Social Media Intern at Skirt PR, assisting with marketing strategies and maintaining client social media. In 2015, they were a Publicity + Social Media Intern at Be Social Public Relations, where they developed social media plans for startup brands and managed client accounts. In 2016, they became a Contributing Writer at POPSUGAR, pitching and writing trending content. Raquel also worked at Varick as a Strategy Coordinator, managing RFP requests and designing presentations, and later as a Product & Brand Marketing Associate, overseeing branding initiatives. In 2018, they joined Xaxis and served as a Digital Designer, creating rich media designs and managing the AdLabs branding. Raquel then became an AdLabs Creative Producer, managing and producing rich media campaigns for major brands. Since 2019, Raquel has been working at Resident, initially as a Digital Designer, creating visual designs for DTC start-ups. Currently, they hold the position of Lead Visual Designer, where they identify marketing opportunities and optimizes creative messaging.

Raquel Fendel completed their high school education at Pendleton Heights High School from 2009 to 2012, earning a diploma with Summa Cum Laude distinction. Raquel then pursued a degree in Journalism with a focus on Marketing at Indiana University Bloomington, graduating in 2016.
