Anja Bihlmaier

Anja Bihlmaier is currently serving as the Chief Conductor of Residentie Orkest Den Haag and as the Principal Guest Conductor of Sinfonia Lahti. Prior to their current roles, Anja held various positions including 1. Kapellmeisterin/ stellvertretende Generalmusikdirektorin at Staatstheater Kassel, 2. Kapellmeisterin at Staatstheater Hannover, and 2. Kapellmeisterin und Assistentin des GMD at Theater Chemnitz. Anja Bihlmaier started their career as a Solorepetitorin mit Dirigierverpflichtung at various theaters before moving on to higher conducting positions. Anja received their education from Universität Mozarteum Salzburg, Musikhochschule Freiburg, and The University of Freiburg.
