Diederik van Wassenaer

Diederik van Wassenaer is a skilled violinist currently serving as Tutti Second Violin with Residentie Orkest since August 2021 and performing as a violinist with Sounding Bodies since May 2019, specializing in personalized 1-1 concerts featuring the works of J.S. Bach. As the owner of StringKitchen, initiated in November 2018, Diederik focuses on professional recordings of original string arrangements. Previous experiences include substitute positions with the Belgian National Orchestra, Noord Nederlands Orkest, Paducah Symphony Orchestra, The Huntsville Symphony Orchestra, and Chattanooga Symphony & Opera, as well as serving as an Academist with Sinfonia Rotterdam. Diederik's expertise in recording extends to work with Nashville Music Scoring, contributing to video game and film soundtracks. Educational achievements include a Master of Music in Violin from Codarts Rotterdam and a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.
