Alan Hume is a seasoned Quality Assurance Engineer with extensive experience in product quality and testing within the electronics and engineering sectors. Currently serving as a Global Product Quality Assurance Engineer at Resideo since October 2018, Alan oversees quality assurance across various product ranges, providing timely solutions to issues post-release. Previously, Alan held multiple roles at Honeywell, including Design Quality Assurance Engineer and Verification & Quality Engineering Manager, where responsibilities included managing quality verification services and leading testing facilities. Alan's career also encompasses supervisory roles at G4S Events Ltd and numerous engineering positions focused on compliance and regulatory testing, including roles at RFI Global Services and Sanmina-SCI Ltd. With degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Glasgow Caledonian University and Kilmarnock College, Alan possesses a strong technical background complemented by leadership experience in quality assurance and testing protocols.
