Rafael Saakyan

Rafael Saakyan is an accomplished compliance professional with extensive experience in global trade and export compliance. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Global Trade Compliance at Resideo since January 2025, Rafael previously held the position of Director of Trade Compliance at ITT Inc. from April 2020 to January 2025. Prior roles include Senior Manager and Export Compliance Manager at Aptiv from January 2015 to April 2020, NA Export Compliance Program Manager at Amazon from December 2012 to 2014, and US Customs Specialist at EnCana from February 2010 to November 2012. Rafael's career also includes a tenure as Global Import and Export Compliance Manager at Cascade Microtech and Trade Assistant at USEAC. Rafael earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Wayne State University Law School in 2019 and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Chemistry from Boise State University in 2003.
