Jared Zena

Jared Zena has a diverse work experience, beginning with a role as a Senior Software Engineer at Resilia in 2022. From 2020 to 2019, they worked at Bankaya as a Senior Back End Engineer, where they contributed to the pre-release and customer acquisition stages, and developed and maintained 11+ new APIs and 15+ event-based communications. From 2019 to 2017, they worked at Banco Santander Mexico as a Full Stack Software Engineer, where they developed cloud APIs and integrated backend applications with frontend. During the same time period, they also worked at Tata Consultancy Services as a Platform Engineer and Automation Testing Engineer, where they implemented backend platform solutions, developed automated tests for mobile apps, and tested functional and regression testing for mobile apps. Finally, from 2017 to 2017, they worked at Wageningen University and Research as a Computer Vision Engineer, where they quantized harvesting tomatoes from RGBD images, developed a yield-estimation algorithm for greenhouse tomato crop, and maintained robotic hardware and machine vision system.

Jared Zena completed an Agricultural Mechanical Engineer degree from Universidad Autónoma Chapingo in 2017.
