Cecilia Nonifili Yuanita

Cecilia Nonifili Yuanita is currently a Program Area Officer at Resilience Development Initiative (RDI), focusing on projects related to disaster and climate resilience, urban planning, renewable energy, and water management. With expertise in Nature-based Solutions and resilient infrastructure, Cecilia is actively involved in evaluations for GIZ and various KIAT projects, contributing to significant studies like the World Bank's NbS Study for National Urban Flood Resilience Project. Previously, Cecilia served as an Assistant Lecturer at Bandung Institute of Technology, an Assistant Analyst at CARI!, and held roles as a Disaster Management Analyst Assistant and Research Assistant in government and non-government organizations. Cecilia earned a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning with a specialization in Disaster Management Planning from Institut Teknologi Bandung.

Resilience Development Initiative (RDI)

Resilience Development Initiative (RDI) is an Indonesian think tank initiative that focuses on resilience studies and sustainable development. RDI contributes to the body of knowledge on development and disaster research studies. RDI continuously produces publication on resilience studies and sustainable development. RDI researcher actively attend national and international conferences and build networks to disseminate research findings and advocate resilience awareness. To date, RDI has six research clusters, namely: REER (Renewable Energy and Emission Reduction), DCR (Disaster and Climate Resilience), WWM (Water and Waste Management), TCH (Tourism and Cultural Heritage), CSWH (Children, Social Welfare and Health), Regional and Urban Policy (RUP) and Finance and Business Management RDI holds a monthly lecture inviting external experts to give presentation on current resilience studies. RDI has experiences working in South East Asian countries and also strong collaboration with a number of countries in Latin America, Africa, Europe and Australia. RDI has hosted > 300 interns. RDI has over 100 fellows located in many countries.
