Resilience Rising is a non-profit organization combating Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC) in the United States. Founded by Gillian Wood in 2010, Resilience Rising's mission is to provide safety, healing and empowerment for girls ages 11-21, while addressing their unique challenges and need for services.  Rooted in an evidence-based model of care, this long term ten-bed residential program provides a safe space for LGBTQ youth, accommodates teenage mothers and their children, provides an all female environment,  trauma-informed care, gender sensitive model, survivorship element, celebrates cultural diversity and respects the neurotypical development of adolescents.   Resilience Rising's holistic approach ensures opportunities for every girl in the program to find themselves, become themselves and rise.
