Christopher Belnap

Christopher Belnap is the current Chief Executive Officer at Resilient Biotics. Prior to this, they were a scientist at Taxon Biosciences and senior scientist at M2E Systems. Christopher has also done research as a postdoctoral fellow at University of California, San Francisco and as a graduate student researcher at University of California, Berkeley. Their areas of expertise include microbial product development, cultivation strategies, microbial strain isolation, functional characterization and identification of microbial product candidates. Christopher is also skilled in designing and testing functional metagenomic screens using heterologous expression vectors in B. subtilis.

Christopher Belnap received their Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of California, Berkeley. Christopher also holds a B.A. in Biology and Geology from Hartwick College.
