Laila Samawi-Utley has a strong background in management consulting and technology leadership. Laila is currently the President and CEO, Managing Principal at ResiliEnt Business Solutions, where they specialize in solving business problems with operational strategy, process, and technology. Laila has a diverse range of experience, having worked as the Enterprise Technology Vendor and Asset Management at SunTrust Bank, CIO and EVP of Systems and Operations at NetBank, CIO and COO at CompuBank, and Vice President, Manager of Internal Services/Projects and Bank Security Officer at Southwest Bank of Texas. Prior to these roles, they served as the VP, Manager of Information Reporting at Bank of America. Laila's expertise includes enterprise strategy, process management, data strategy, business intelligence, data warehousing, systems integration, and program and project management. Laila Samawi-Utley completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management, Economic, and Finance from Sam Houston State University. Laila further pursued their studies and obtained a Masters of Business Administration in Finance and Business Management from the University of Houston. Laila achieved this certification in May 1985.
