Ryan Edwards

Ryan Edwards has a diverse range of work experience in engineering and research. Their most recent position is as a Principal Engineer at Resilient Power, where they currently work. Prior to this, they spent a significant portion of their career at TECO-Westinghouse Motor Company as a Principal R&D Engineer, developing embedded software for motor control systems. Before that, they worked as a Research Assistant at Texas Tech University, where they focused on power electronics and hybrid vehicle systems. Additionally, they had summer internships at the Army Research Laboratory, Sandia National Laboratories, and the University of Texas at Austin. Ryan also gained experience as a Mechanical Engineer Intern at Freese and Nichols. Overall, Ryan has a strong background in embedded software development, control systems, and power electronics.

Ryan Edwards has a strong educational background in engineering, specifically in the fields of Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University, completing their studies between 1997 and 2002. Ryan then pursued further education at the same institution, obtaining a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering from 2002 to 2004. Continuing their academic journey, Ryan Edwards earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University, where they studied from 2004 to 2007.
