Christian Chan

Christian Chan is a Senior Associate at Allens since February 2019, specializing in complex cross-border taxation issues, including transfer pricing, Part IVA, withholding tax, and administrative law, particularly in transactions and disputes with the ATO. Previously, Christian held multiple managerial roles at EY from July 2010 to January 2019, including Manager - International Tax, where advice on corporate and international tax issues, as well as disputes with the ATO, was provided. Additionally, Christian served as Manager - Tax Controversy, assisting large Australian and inbound businesses with tax risk management and disputes, and as a Tax Consultant focused on corporate income tax and compliance for large corporate groups. Christian holds a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from UNSW, completed between 2005 and 2009.
