Wendy Lucas Wood

Wendy Wood PhD is a dedicated professional in conflict resolution, organizational development, and social change. As a founding partner of The Karuna Center since January 2006, Wendy has contributed to cultivating humanity and collective responsibility through transformative conflict engagement. In 2017, Wendy co-founded the Democracy, Politics and Conflict Engagement Initiative, advocating for creative approaches to conflict that enhance democratic processes. Wendy also serves as a Senior Practitioner at Resologics, providing mediation and dispute resolution consulting to various organizations. Formerly an adjunct faculty member at Saybrook University, Wendy specialized in conflict analysis and social change. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Human Sciences from Saybrook University and multiple certificates in mediation and alternative dispute resolution from the University of California, Berkeley, and the Center for Dispute Resolution, alongside advanced degrees in Organizational Development, Public Health, and Public Administration.
