Meredith Piccirillo

Meredith Piccirillo has a diverse and extensive work experience. Meredith has most recently served as the Director of Clinical Operations at Resolute Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation since August 2021. In this role, they successfully opened a new unit, hired and led a team of over 20 employees, and exceeded profit expectations. Meredith also implemented various initiatives and processes for patient benefit and ensured regulatory compliance.

Prior to their current role, Meredith worked as a Senior Staff Pathologist at Baylor Scott & White Health from July 2018 to August 2021. During their tenure, they grew patient volume through marketing efforts and established a telehealth speech therapy program. Meredith collaborated with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans and achieved high patient outcome scores.

Meredith also worked at Lifespan as a Department Manager & Clinical Coordinator from June 2014 to July 2018. Meredith improved work culture, effectively managed a team of 12, and provided leadership in a department with historically high attrition. Meredith also conducted training sessions for clinical staff and published them on the university website.

In addition, Meredith served as an Interim Manager and Speech Language Pathologist at Brookdale Senior Living from February 2013 to July 2018. Meredith managed ancillary services, provided patient care, and ensured efficient operations and staff education.

Earlier in their career, Meredith was the Director of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Services at Memorial Hospital of RI from July 2008 to March 2014. Meredith led a large team, managed budgets, and successfully built an Oncology therapy program. Meredith also played a key role in achieving departmental accreditations.

Meredith Piccirillo holds a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Pathologist, which was obtained from Kean University between 2000 and 2002. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Communication Disorders Sciences and Services from the University of Rhode Island, completing their studies from 1996 to 2000. In addition to their formal education, Meredith obtained certifications in CPR (Basic Life Saving Skills) from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association in November 2012. Additionally, they completed FEMA Emergency Management courses 100-800 offered by FEMA in May 2006.
