John Schaefer

John Schaefer, CPA, CFA has extensive experience in finance and accounting. John started their career at Deloitte & Touche LLP in 2003, specializing in Audit & Enterprise Risk Services. John then moved on to Athene in 2020 as Vice President - Accounting Policy, where they worked until 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Investment Accounting Advisory at Resolution Life. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, regulatory filings, and complex accounting standards.
