Julia Pollak has a diverse range of work experience in the scientific field. Julia currently holds the position of Senior Scientist in Assay Development at Resolution Bioscience, starting in December 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Scientist II in Assay Development from April 2019 to November 2020, and as a Scientist I in Assay Development from May 2018 to April 2019.

Before joining Resolution Bioscience, Julia worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Seattle Children's from February 2014 to May 2018. Additionally, they gained experience as a Freelance Specialist Editor at Cactus Communications from June 2016 to April 2018.

Julia's earlier work experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Washington from August 2008 to December 2013, as a Research Assistant at Stanford University from August 2006 to July 2008, as a Research Assistant at Weill Cornell Medical College from June 2005 to August 2006, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Weill Cornell Medicine from 2003 to 2005.

Julia Pollak obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biology from Brown University, graduating in the year 2005. Following this, they pursued a Ph.D. in Neurobiology and Behavior at the University of Washington from 2008 to 2013.
