Cassie Haynes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in journalism, public policy, and nonprofit management. Currently serving as a Knight-Wallace Journalism Fellow at the Wallace House Center for Journalists and a Journalism Strategist and Revenue Consultant at Plot Twist Consulting, Cassie supports philanthropic and news organizations to foster narrative change and enhance information access. As Co-Executive Director and co-founder of Resolve Philly, Cassie leads initiatives aimed at sustaining local journalism through collaboration and equity. Previous roles include adjunct instructor at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Social Policy & Practice, Deputy Executive Director of Innovation for the City of Philadelphia's Office of Community Empowerment and Opportunity, Executive Director at the Women's Flat Track Derby Association, and Director of Strategy and Business Operations at Green Health Cube. Cassie's academic credentials include a Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law, a Master of Public Health from Tufts University School of Medicine, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Pace University.
