Maurice Knight

Maurice Knight is an accomplished leader in fisheries management and environmental conservation, currently serving as the Chief of Party for the USAID Indonesia Collaborative Fisheries Management Project at Resonance since September 2022. Knight has extensive experience in biodiversity programs, having previously held the Chief of Party position for the USAID PNG Biodiversity Program at Cardno Emerging Markets USA, Ltd., and the USAID/Ghana Sustainable Fisheries Management Project at the Coastal Resources Center, University of Rhode Island. Other notable roles include Pacific Regional Director for USAID, Chief of Party for the Coral Triangle Support Partnership at the World Wildlife Fund, and various consultant positions with the World Bank Group and the World Health Organization focused on governance, public health, and post-conflict recovery. Knight's work emphasizes building capacity for sustainable and equitable resource management across diverse ecological and socio-political landscapes.
